Publishing With Second Sight
The Work Has to Earn Its Place Here
Second Sight is not a publishing house that takes everything offered to it. Christopher Parrish is highly selective about the material that carries the Second Sight name. The standard is not subjective enthusiasm — the work must represent a genuine advancement of the craft. Something that gives working performers tools they could not find elsewhere. If it does not clear that bar, it will not be published here.
Second Sight Exclusive — 60 / 40
Products sold exclusively through parrishmentalism.com earn a 60/40 split in favour of the creator. Profits are calculated after all production costs are fully settled — taxes, shipping, platform fees, and all other costs. Sixty percent of what remains is yours.
Non-Exclusive — 50 / 50
Products carried by other retailers operate on an equal 50/50 split. The same rule applies: all costs are settled first, then profits are divided equally.
If Second Sight loves your submission, Christopher will personally reach out to arrange a meeting covering every dimension of the product — layout, ad-copy, pricing, and release strategy. Nothing is published without that process running its full course.
Second Sight and Christopher Parrish reserve the right to revise any aspect of these publishing policies — including royalty rates and profit split structures — at their sole discretion. Any changes will be communicated to active collaborators before taking effect.
